UKRAINE VISAS

TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION

Ukrainian citizens wishing to visit relatives in Canada are required to apply for a visa with the Canadian Embassy in Kyiv.

If you are thinking of inviting family or friends from Ukraine you must supply them with an "invitation". Such forms are available from R.J.'s Tours free of charge. All questions on the form must be answered and the invitation must then be signed by a Notary Public and sent to your family/friends in Ukraine. They are required to take this document with them to the Canadian Embassy for visa processing.

PREPAID TICKETS

Airline tickets may be purchased on any carrier from Ukraine to any destination in Canada. Tickets can be picked up either in Kyiv or L'viv at the airline's ticketing office or issued here and delivered to the traveler in Kyiv or L'viv at an additional charge. Call us for specific details.

VISAS

Visas are no longer required by Canadians or Americans for travel to Ukraine.

PASSPORTS

Canadian citizens must possess a valid passport which will not expire at least 30 days after your scheduled return from Ukraine.

CUSTOMS

You must clear customs upon arrival in Ukraine. If travelling with a R.J.'s Tours Ltd. group, we will assist you with filling out the declaration form.

Upon entry you must list total pieces of luggage and declare all cash, jewelry and other valuables.

BE SURE TO RETAIN THIS FORM.

When leaving Ukraine you must fill out an exit declaration and submit it to customs officials together with the original entry form.

Any items deemed to be national treasures could be confiscated. Be sure to keep as many receipts as possible!

INSURANCE

An all-inclusive policy covering trip cancellation, loss of luggage, sickness, injury, etc. can be purchased from R.J.'s Tours Ltd. prior to departure. If you have family or friends visiting you from Ukraine, be sure to purchase "Visitors to Canada" coverage from us at a nominal rate.
